Villa W
Gams, Switzerland — 2022A private new-build villa of 1,800 square metres in the Swiss Alps. Commissioned shortly before completion to shape the interior spaces and outdoor areas, the project centres on luxurious materials harmonised within a deliberately low-contrast palette, lighter woods rendered with understated elegance.
The design complements the architecture with a modern, elevating material language. Each surface and finish was coordinated to form a cohesive colour concept, where the interplay of stone, wood, and textile creates a sense of quiet sophistication throughout.
A particularly rewarding element was the collaboration with a local stonemason, whose exceptional work in material selection, precisely meeting the studio's exacting standards, and flawless stone cutting brought an irreplaceable craftsmanship to the project.
