Villa D
Potsdam, Germany — 2023A Gründerzeit villa on a waterfront with its own boat dock, brought back to life through a comprehensive renovation. The core concept was to create a contemporary interior within the historical context, timeless in its design approach, free from passing trends, and defined by authentic, sustainable materials of the highest resilience.

The key living spaces, bedroom, kitchen, dining room, and lounge, are oriented toward the garden and the water, establishing a continuous dialogue between interior and landscape. The owner's passion for wildlife photography and art is woven into the design, with carefully curated pieces lending each room its own narrative.

Authentic colour palettes create contrasting atmospheres throughout the residence. Every material was selected for its genuineness and longevity, resulting in an environment that feels both grounded and deeply personal.
