Villa P

Düsseldorf, Germany — 2023

A heritage-listed private villa, carefully restored and expanded to unite historic substance with contemporary precision. The design unfolds from within, drawing out the inherent beauty of the existing architecture while introducing a new extension that references the original with the highest level of craft and sensitivity.

The interplay of smoked oak, brass details, and bespoke natural stone elements establishes a rich material dialogue throughout the residence. A custom-designed kitchen anchored by a striking stone island, fireplaces framed in sculpted natural stone masks, and meticulously coordinated joinery define each room with quiet authority.

Dark woods set against light walls and fabrics create a deliberate contrast, spaces that feel at once grounded and luminous, intimate yet generous in proportion. A private wine cellar, accessed by its own dedicated lift, completes the composition.
