Villa M
Berlin, Germany — 2022A heritage-listed villa of approximately 1,600 square metres, meticulously restored under strict conservation requirements. Rather than mere restoration, the project represents a thoughtful evolution of the building's history, fine, contemporary elements woven seamlessly into the existing structure, creating a dialogue between past and present.

Surfaces of light brown woods combine with high-gloss lacquer, glass, brass, and natural stone to form a material palette of refined warmth. The colour world moves through cream, beige, and soft nougat to caramel, each tone precisely calibrated against the next.

The library, with its natural stone fireplace mask, and the kitchen counter, sculpted from a single block of stone, stand as the project's defining moments, contemporary in proportion, timeless in their material presence.
